Title: decompression system Post by majic on 01/31/10 at 08:17:35 Hi everybody ,got a big Question. What will happen if remove decomp? Converting my suzi to bobber and want to remove as many things as possible. Started it W/O decomp with no problems. Many many thanks Majic ;) |
Title: Re: decompression system Post by Serowbot on 01/31/10 at 08:39:17 it won't start... I'd leave it... unless you want to figure out how to make a manual one... ;) |
Title: Re: decompression system Post by nicka on 01/31/10 at 08:45:27 It might start without decomp, but it will soon fry the battery and probably the starter motor. |
Title: Re: decompression system Post by justin_o_guy2 on 01/31/10 at 09:59:33 You can ditch the electric decomp, keep the cable & rig it manually. Only gotta stay on long enough to allow the engine to spin up. Once the mass is swinging, the starter can run it thru the compression stroke. |
