Title: lighted mirror to check the oil level.
Post by Max_Morley on 01/29/10 at 09:41:03

Was in Sears yesterday and ran across an lighted inspection mirror. It is needed as checking the oil level with the sidecar on is next to impossible, but I had used a mirror and flashlight before. With the LED light built in it makes it so easy. Max in PHX where it is trying to be sunny and nice on the non rainy days. I need to ride the sidecar rig more.

Hey Max I have been using a ladies compact to check my oil since I got this bike, and to check my makeup.  How did you find one with a light?

Photo?

Is this the one:  http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00945047000P -- only $15.

Phelonious, Paladin called it correctly. Light handle extends up to 30 inches so it is very easy  to get the mirror on the sight glass. Lots easier than using a hand lamp and a non-lighted mirror.

John Boy, just a snow bird getting out of WA state cold and checking off one of the major items on our bucket list. Hopefully the wet weather will breaks soon as my kids brother and family are also here with their rig and we had hoped to haunt some ghost towns before the move on. Max

Based on the above, I ordered one yesterday.  Thanks for the Heads-Up.

Aye like it.  Next trip to the big city will include a Sears stop.
