Title: kn part # - this dead horse is thoroughly beaten
Post by BurnPgh on 12/24/09 at 01:09:10

I 've got the Kn cone part #'s to hook directly to the carb. I'm really looking for a Kn cone with 2in ID. Is there such a creature? Looked extensively on ebay and google but to no avail. Looking to emulate Djs set up (more or less). 2in pvc for turbulator in the air intake tube and a 2in ID Kn cone to connect. I prefer a tight fit but will go with the 2 1/4" if need be. Any suggestion appreciated.

You will not find a cone filter of any kind that fits the stock or a performance carb that has an OD of less than 3".

Some mods simply require that you manufacture them yourself.
You might start by looking at various pvc fittings to see what might be adapted. Bell reducers come to mind.

im farmiliar with the term as my chain drive and cast wheels can attest. I just figured with so many kn variations this would be one simple thing i wouldnt have to mod.
