There are times when good looks get ignored and practical kicks in.  Riding in sub-freezing is one such time.  I would go with a plexifairing minimum.  Don't worry about finding mounts for the Savage -- buddy of mine has one on his 500 Shadow; tied to the front end with telephone cable lacing twine.  You might consider a large front fender such as the one Max Morley has:

Spitfire SO-6T 1" in smoke color made by slipstreamer, is an inexpensive, ($69) nice looking small windscreen.

But in freezing weather, it does leave a bit to be desired.

I have a Memphis Shades in excellent condition; it's a good size to block wind from body and hands; hardware really nice stainless/aluminum.
$50 + shp and its yours.
This setup retailed for $179
I have 2 other smaller windshields that I use and just do not use this one any more.
I can have it packed up and on the way in 24 hrs.
You can Paypal to me @ "savage.s40@gmail.com" or I can send you an invoice with which you can make payment with a credit card.

I will need to pack it and weigh it to get the actual shipping cost.

Merry Christmas

Michael

Can I just ride over and pick it up if no-body else shows and interest?
