Does anyone know if there are any "bolt on' Highway pegs or foot peg extensions?

Yes. You can find them on eBay. But to see what fits, check www.kuryakyn.com, or www.jcwhitney.com

Then Ed L is the guy. He makes custom forward controls for the Savage in some different lengths. I don't have them but those who do say they are a good modification.

Mind you I'm 6'3" and a newbie but I love this savage and got it for 800 it's a 2000 with 7k Miles runs like a dream ;D
