Title: u guys will be proud! Post by Rocco on 09/19/09 at 13:47:19 well down here it's still hot and the grass grows...too well! our lawn mower is maybe 4 years old, we keep it under a cover outside(no garage or shed) so the weather beats them up. i went to start her up and the cord attached to the thing u press down on the bar snapped! and it's in a sleeve so it's difficult to pull up and retie SO i did what most savage bobbers would do! i followed the string down, noticed it pulls a spring open, i assume lets in fuel. like a petcock in my thinking! SO i opened it with my hand, jammed a screwdriver in it to keep it open and mowed the lawn. when finished i just removed it, now i figured it would just shut off but it took a little coercing to do that. the important thing is i got the job done, and i used my brain & my savagely good rat bike instincts lol who approves? :D |
