Title: Air filter cover Post by Oldnewguy on 09/12/09 at 05:40:23 I have a need to spend as little time as possible on the concrete floor so I modified my air filter cover to come off and go on a little easier. http://p1.bikepics.com/pics/2009%5c09%5c12%5cbikepics-1778514-800.jpg I cut the screw holes out so that it's not necessary to remove the screws from the holes. Also. no tank removal is necessary to get to top screw (I am not sure if it ever was). Title: Re: Air filter cover Post by wrenchhead on 09/12/09 at 18:39:16 I just replaced the screws with SS hex head bolts; it's easier to get a small wrench in there without taking anything else off. |
