Title: Re: Exhaust coupling Post by prechermike on 09/11/09 at 04:35:05 When I put mine on I also got a HD heat sheild, I had to cut it to fit, since it was a Y type thing. I think someone, maybe Serowbot got a exhaust tip from Autozone and cut it. There are also heat shields you can buy. Search for heat sheilds on the forum and see what yo come up with. |
Title: Re: Exhaust coupling Post by SimonTuffGuy on 09/11/09 at 06:10:38 EBay has a ton of them... Probably any normal bike shop in your area would too... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrome-EXHAUST-HEAT-SHIELD-7-x1-3-4-Harley-motorcycle_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem53dcc0c122QQitemZ360185905442QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories |

Title: Re: Exhaust coupling Post by SimonTuffGuy on 09/11/09 at 12:29:02 Like I said... Most local bike shops will probably have something in stock and you can avoid shipping and waiting. When I was looking for mine, I found most places on EBay offered a set of 2 or 3... So, you could always get those and sell the extras here. I still need to pickup one for mine. :X |
