Title: Re: Chopper build pics. Post by SimonTuffGuy on 09/02/09 at 07:10:44 I love seeing builds like this. Are you going to pull the rear pegs? I've removed the pegs themselves, but haven't got around to pulling the mounts off the frame yet. |

I forgot and left it in there, but I found out that past 55 in cross winds or past 70 on a flat road it exibits a bit of headshake that goes away to ~95 with a foot on the rear pegs, and head @ the handlebar drag racing crouch. Cool. Srinath. |

Title: Re: Chopper build pics. Post by srinath on 09/02/09 at 20:01:22 I got the pictures jumbled ... or 1-2 of em are off a bit. The bike was not out for more than 2-3 days total. Of course bone head me had a FE I sold off a bike 3 days after getting it running after 15 years of it sitting. Then one evening me and my friend swapped front ends and rear wheels between 2 bikes so I could do a 2000 chopper and a 87 stock instead of the other way round. but after all that considered ... it was done pretty rapidly. Cool. Srinath. |
