Anyone know how much voltage the altinator is supposed to put out at say an idle and with higher rpm say like 2000, any specs would be great! ::)

ok i found the specs on a previous post, should be around 14v or so at 5000rpm. I tested the altinator as posted in a previous tread and is preforming 28Vac  but im only charging at 12.8v max when pluged into the rectifier, so its seems its time for a rectifier!

Intial problem was stalling when coming to a stop when bike was hot. I tested ol sparky and checks out ok, checked the thingy and i was ok, sparky was blue but small, so i may replace soon, only have 2500 miles on this plug. I was having to charge the battery every couple of days, i only ride it back and forth to work round trip is 12miles.

If anyone has any input i would love to hear it!
As always you guys are awsome!
;)
