Title: Got a short somewhere...any ideas? Post by Mattdw on 08/06/09 at 10:49:45 My left turn signal indicator light is slightly glowing constantly (not flashing), and my left turn signal is dimmer than the right. Any hints where to start tracking this one down? |

Post by matt on 08/06/09 at 11:22:33 Not a clue, but my first idea would be to trace the wires as far back looking for abnormalities like pinched or melted wires then try to make something of the wiring diagrams in your clymers book. That looks ok then im sure there is some sort of relay for signals. This is all from the top of my head my best educated guess without being with my bike and manual. You can always remove them and use hand sigs! ;) |

Front signals. I've not replaced the bulb. I'll try taking out the bulb and leaving the circuit to it open, and see if the indicator still glows. Not cleaned the sockets, I'll give it a shot. |

Title: Re: Got a short somewhere...any ideas? Post by verslagen1 on 08/06/09 at 11:36:08 The connectors for all the front sig's are in the headlight. Pop it out and take a look. Take the tank off and eyeball the wires there too. Flasher is there too. |
