I used Kuryakyn Dually offset pegs on an OEM engine guard.

Looks great! My question is, don't the pegs point down too much? I am scared to mount the Show Chrome set I bought due to the angle.

I don't know about the set that you have but the ones I have are completely adjustable and I have the angle set for the best comfort for me.
