The modern sport bikes have cables that go on the exhaust butterflies - I suspect its that exup system from yamaha ...
I got a header from a 4 into 1 for the GR motor in GS frame project of mine, and one of them had a set of near new cables ... great ... I never thought about it till I needed a throttle cable for the 00 savage.
So one of them has an adjuster and I bent a nice smooth 120 degree in that end, and cut and ground the other end, then took a rack rail off a junked GS500 carb cut off a small bit (could have just used small angle, but can't find that small angle with that thick a wall) punched a hole in it and cut an angled slot in it for cable. Then took the nut off, slid the cable through and bolted it back on and screwed in @ the swicth. Like a charm.

Could get pics ... ya ... but ... meeeeh, its all concealed ... next time I yank the tank off.
