Title: Who is in the VM club?
Post by odvelasc on 07/17/09 at 07:33:21

Who out there is in the VM club? And what are your specs?I am running a 38mm roundslide with UFO, and Dial a Jet.  I have a bled 15pilot and 155 main waiting on 150 and currently running the daj in the middle most setting. SHe is running amazing but a tad rich. I know that seviersavage is in the club, and perhaps Lancer still, and rigid as well if he is still around. This is the club to be in if you are not. Its a totally different bike.
8-)

I would like to see how your edelbrock looks on the bike. About amal's. I read that their contsruction material is not the greatest. Quite a bit of wear can occure on needle jets, valve etc..  The Amal's are used on a Brittish bikes? Rob I would like to see your set up. Maybe an idea of the performance of the bike using Amal or edelbrock?
Was chatting for a while with some fellows riding a heavily modified dyna and his pal with a fatboy. They started off on thumpers and were into the wrenching I did on the bike. They were impressed even more when I told them about Lancer's bike.

I really like my Keihin 41FCR except the price ! Note bellmouth made on my lathe/mill, other mods arrowed, haven't used the o-ring mod yet.

I will try to get a photo of it today.
And for Toymaker; I have not taken Rex's head off yet since we have only been home 2 days, so I do not know yet what the condition inside the cylinder is.  I am still trying to catch up getting the parts orders out that came in while we were playing with the new baby in NC while taken care of domestic requirements.
