Title: fuel delivery
Post by oksavage on 07/09/09 at 14:03:28

I recently installed a fuel filter on my 86 Savage.  Here is my question: once the bike is running should I see fuel in the filter (it's clear) all the time or only when on prime?  Because once it is running none is backed up in the filter when petcock is turned to "on"

I have a very small fuel filter on mine and you see very little fuel in filter when it's at idle. As long as it's running smooth and no stumble you are getting enough fuel.

Mine fills up too.

I just switched to a yhama raptor 350 petcock.  it needed an adapector plate (1/4" spaacer) to make it fit.  now i can turn on and off the gas and know I have  GOOD  flow.
