explain to me briefly what are the differences between the thunder products dial-a-jet, powerjet, and intela-jet. I understand teh basic premise of the modding with respect to all of these three particular products but by the description they all claim the gain is power, fuel efficiency, smoothing of flat spots in the throttle, etc. Wherein lay the differences between these products and the benefits of these differences? Why is the dial-a-jet better than the powerjet? Why is the intela-jet better than the dial-a-jet? Sorry to bother you. I know you're the "go to guy" here on carbs and jetting and im sure you get a great deal of messages and such asking all these same questions.

For our puroses on a Savge/S40 street bike the Dial-a-jet (DAJ) or IntelAjet are the units most applicable.  The DAJ enables the engine to enjoy up to 3 main jet size corrections without changing jets and when dialed in correctly will produce more power and improved efficiency.

The IntelAjet (IAJ) is an upgraded version of the DAJ and is machined from aluminum vs plastic/brass for the DAJ and has a slightly broader range for tuning I believe...maybe 4+ main jet sizes.  Also, it has a bar mounted contoller enabling easy "on the fly" corrections whereas the DAJ required stopping and adjusting a small dial on the carb mounted DAJ unit.  So the IAJ is an improved version of the DAJ

The Thunder Powerjet is an adjustable/improved version of what Mikuni put out years back as their Powerjet, which required individual jet changes until the right size was found for the carb & engine it was mounted on.  It is like an extra main jet that sits on the intake side of the carbs bellmouth.
The Thunder Powerjet has the same basic function as the Mikuni Powerjet but has a adjustable needle instead of fixed jets, and is easily adjustable; just like reaching down to adjust the idle on the stock carb.  It is an extra main jet that is mounted in the intake side on the carbs bellmouth and is capable of providing up to 15 main jet size adjustments, which is enormous.  This device is designed for RACE ENGINES with huge appitites; with turbos, superchargers or NO2 injectors.

Anyway, those are the basics as I understand them.  I hope this is helpful.

I appreciatae the kind words, thank you.  I have a fair handle on carburetors but don't leave me alone with a wiring harness lest I hang myself on it; just ask Verslagen about that.  He flew out from Socal for the Dragon ride and literally finished assembling my Savage with some help from me assisting, which at that point was largely electrical and had me at a standstill.   Finally got it together and started it ... clouds of blue smoke ... ahhhh ...... someone that looks a lot like me seems to have forgotten the valve stem seals...... yeah ......  then the engine abruptly stops, like instantly ........ oooooooooooohhhhhhhhh  not good.
So now I still have a Savge project bike to refinish again.   We shall see what is after the head comes off one more time.
