Title: McCuff Post by rl153 on 07/02/09 at 09:52:33 I bought one of these things but haven't used it yet . If you stick the gas nozzle through it an inch and a half(like they suggest) ,will it fill the tank so high that it will leak when on the kickstand? Thanks. |

Title: Re: McCuff Post by marine5317 on 07/02/09 at 18:19:24 DO NOT put a plastic sleeve on a fuel nozzle! You want the metal nozzle touching your metal tank so it is GROUNDED! Trust me. Ride Safe Marine5317 |

Title: Re: McCuff Post by marine5317 on 07/02/09 at 18:40:28 Static discharge is always a dangerous problem when pumping or even free fall flammable liquid of any kind. I've had a lot of training hauling Hazmat for a lot of years. You always want it GROUNDED! Ride Safe Marine5317 |
Title: Re: McCuff Post by savagedml on 07/02/09 at 19:04:51 First off, it's rubber not plastic and I like mine because it consistently stops the fuel at a level where I don't have to deal with the overfill issue where it is running down the side of the tank. Also no McDrips. I used my discount at Cycle Gear and paid $14. |

Title: Re: McCuff Post by rl153 on 07/03/09 at 19:41:05 when your fill the tank close to the top with the mccuff ,does gas seep out when the cap is on ,when you're on your kickstand? |
