I have tried doing a search but come up with nada,. I know this topic has been covered but here is the question anyway.
Can i re-use my old grips ?
i am about to order some nice 10" z bars but am wondering if i need to order new grips and also either way how to get old ones off and back on or old off and new on ?

i'd like to know how to change grips as well...i've seen some very wicked ones!


i heard they were just glued on and u heat em up and slide them off then spray glue and stick em on.....don't quote me though

Have you ever loosened the grips on a bicycle when you were younger to simulate a throttle for a motorcycle? If so, the same exact procedure.

use rubbing alcohol.... for removing and replacing...
best thing since sliced bread.... (sliced bread doesn't work at all)... :-?

Yes they can be re-used if you don't screw them up getting them off.

i might get a new set eventually, mine is missin the chrome cap. if i can get some for a decent price....or i'll let mine decompose and match the look i want ahhaa

Yeah except mine were the white ones that came pre-loosened from the factory, so when I went for some motorbike action the grip slipped off and I busted it big time.

Oh yeah, you can get grips off easily by squirting some compressed air under them.  Breaks the bond in no time.
