Post by vargas on 06/27/09 at 07:03:00

rotated the stock bars down to take some twist out of my wrist and it is so much more comfortable-but nowthe switches etc. not to mention the mirrors are off a bit. i also noticed i give it some throttle sometimes without meaning to.the grip position is better and the bike handles more nimbly=but i need to put the swictches and levers back where i'm used to them before i kill myself.any help please. :-/

Well the clutch and brake levers are easy, just loosen the bolts and twist them forward, the electronic controls (horn, starter button, turn signal switches etc.. etc.. etc..) are a bit more difficult because they have little nipples molded into the housings that fit into predrilled holes in the handle bars. Now you can file those down and twist the controls to the desired position, just be sure to tighten the bolts good to keep them from spinning.

That's what most of us do when we replace our handle bars with other than stock bars. It seems to work fine.
