Anyone know where I can order a new needle clip for a vm carb? I lost mine when it hit the ground while adjusting my needle. I McGyver'd a staple around the needle and its holding up pretty good so far after 3 days of riding lol

I'm sure you can find it online but maybe a careful search with a magnet will turn up the clip?

Go to mcmaster-carr (http://www.mcmaster.com) and search for "circlips." The E-style clips are available in really small sizes, like less than 3mm. Of course you'll have to buy 100 of them.. for a whopping $3.50

Ace will have one, take your needle with you and you can buy just one, but maybe two or three might be a good idea lol.

I live in Canada. We do not have ACE Hardware lol. We have Home Depot, Rona and Canadian Tire. What section should I look in?

Home Depot aint got sheeit for metric hardware, or parts that small.

I'd order the circlips and several other bolts that commonly fail (valve hatch bolts, anyone?) and that will justify the shipping. Start a thread asking everyone what fasteners most commonly break, that they'd like to have in stainless steel. Then place a large order with mcmaster-carr and assemble kits.. I'll buy one ;)

Send me $5 and I'll find it and mail ya in a little envelope taped to the envelope ... I'll mail ya 2 if you like, in case you had a 2 cyl ... If its same as any other suzuki, even easier, I'll yank some out of my other carbs - I'll check if its the same and do it by this weekend.

Do you have paypal? My carb is a vm38mm roundslide. So far my staple is holding up for about 150km. I should replace the clip before my trip to vermont in August though lol. Let me Srinath
