Title: Noob question! Please forgive me. Post by mastershokhan on 06/20/09 at 14:25:53 Hello everybody my name is Cedric. I love this forum and I've been lurking here for a year. I don't have a s40 yet, but I wanted to ask a question. Is it possible to put a 200 ( fat rear tire ) on the bike? And if so is it difficult to adjust? |

Post by Demin on 06/20/09 at 15:07:49 Anything is possible. But if you're using the stock swingarm...No.You would have to fab a new swingarm or custom frame. Then you need to offset either the whole engine or the final drive pulley/sprocket to clear the tire.I run an IRC Wildflare 150/80 or 90-15 and I have very little clearance between tire, and swingarm, belt. Then there is the issue of fender clearance. |

No problem.I've built a couple Savages, building another right now.I will eventually do a 180 or 200 tire Savage.I have a 180 tire in stock, and have been wanting to build something around it.Building a 200 tire Harley right now too. |
