Title: Re: takin off tank Post by prechermike on 06/13/09 at 16:55:57 You can drain the tank bu taking the carb hose and letting it run into a can, set the petcock to PRI. Take the seat off, two bolts underneath on either side, take the bolts out at the back of the tank and slide it forward, up and wiggle it all at the same time. If you have the stock petcock I think that makes a little difference in how you wiggle it. I sent you a pm. |

I have to drag it back & up & then slap the tank to the left to get the petcock to pass the frame, but it scrapes it. I dont care. Beats having to drain & remove the petcock. |
