Black, white & silver or red & white. Problem is... it's not red as I or any other human knows it. Mick, my buddy and motorcycle salesman, even showed me the brochure. It says red & white.

It's pink and white, folks. Yep, you read right. He was pissed when it came in and he opened up the crate because he knew the color just cut his potential buyer pool by at least 2/3rds. No man would ever buy it for himself. If suzuki ever offered pink & white before I know I've never seen one. Think I'm exaggerating? Go hunt one down for yourself and tell me it's not pink. Don't judge the pics on the main suzuki site. No, go see one in person.

I wonder if there's an optional white basket for the handlebars.

;D The local stealership where I bought mine had the black, and the grey & white one (which I particularly like). I still like my dark red metallic better though. And to think, black was my first choice, and they didn't have it! A very happy coincidence, since I like what I have better now. 8-)

Told ya you thought I was exaggerating. When you see one in person you will think "pink". Trust me. Mick has asked just every buddy that's walked in through the dealer's doors for their opinion. 100% pink thus far. That's how he intro'd me to it. He said, "C'mon, let me show you something"... "Whatcha think", he asked.

"WTF- it's pink!" Then he told me about how he's pissed that suzuki advertises it as red.

We got in one of those a few weeks ago here in the
shop where I work, the guy wanted us to free-up his
exhaust a bit cause it seems nobody in traffic ever
heard him coming and had a few close calls it seems
(transit here in Mexico City is just NUCKING FUTS!)

I even took it for a spin before the owner picked it up,
NIIICE, I've never ridden a new savage before,
much more torquey and "tight" than my 97', nice.

And about THE COLOR, well, what can I say?
yeah, it's kinda wine-pinkish-red, the color
actually changes depending on the type of lighting,
not THAT bad in person, almost elegant, almost.
And this is no accident either, guess suzuki is
trying to go for the iPod-rider market; O well.

You know Motorcycling is not a all guy thing anymore! Right?

Alot of the other kinds of MC's have changed some things to draw women,you didnt think Suzuki would?

Not sure what kind of rack/backrest is that,
but I think it "came w/the bike", that and the
crash guard must be extra accessories the
guy bought at the suzuki dealership when he
purchased the savage.

Gotta look in to that, both the guard and the rack
are pretty decent and solid AND easy to make w/
a pipe/tube bender thingy ...and a blowtorch, serious.

While I generally don't give a shite what color a Bike is, I do have some preferences and think I'd have to draw the line at that fuschia shade that 'Zuki have christined their S40 and Gladius models with this year ... WTF were they thinking! :o

A pal of mine just bought the pink/white LS for his wife ... suits her I s'pose ... the silver/white option looks pretty good though ... I have a white '05 and at first thought it looked a bit girl-ish ... but I bought 'er used, so I wasn't gonna be picky ... now think the pearl white looks darn good ... even better than the teal green of my former '03 (which I liked too) ...

Correct me if I'm wrong. But it IS an option right? Is this the ONLY color for the new year bike? If it's an option then they've just opened up more potetial sales not limited them. I know my girl would look hot on a pink one riding right next to my black one. But she won't ride :(

Saw the same thing when picking up new brake pads. Definately pink. It still looks great. Id ride it. I wouldnt buy it but if they threw keys at me id ride it.

Seems like they went for guys and girls color schemes. Seen both and they look ok but I do prefer the white/silver combo.
