As long as you go + to + and do that first: then go good battery - to bike frame or ground strap bolt so if it sparks it will do it away from any gases around the discharged battery. won't need real heavy duty cables like you would for a car/truck. Also can use a booster pak, for that I use a long phillips screwdriver with a piece of tubing slid down from the tip to almost the handle. Use it like an extension of the + booster cable and you won't even have to take off the seat. Will need a helper to do the starting drill on the bike while you hold the screwdriver tip on the + battery terminal. Max |
