If there is a cable attached to it, it would be the lever that actuates the clutch. Is the spring round with little hooks on it? Not real long, but bigger around.

I'm not really sure. I might just be a loose fit and slide back in. If the spring is not number 25 then I'm not fully sure where it goes.

What I was trying to get at was you didn't tell me alot.

The rod just slips into the center of the clutch.

Is this spring about the size of your little finger?

check the inside of the clutch cover is there a spring there?
