Looking to make a traditional bobber out of her Red rims and handles ape hangers, and white walls. I't looks like crap now but it was $125 comes with title and it runs proly not that well but he said it ran. He said it was looseing compression, I'm just gonna bore it out. or is there any big bore kits for the savage?

darn it says the pic is too big i guess i'll try my hand at making it smaller.

The problem is the data base is full for posting directly or some such thing, that is why we only post through a proxy. You could get the pic 1 pixel x 1 pixel and it will still say it is too large.

Yep, I would call that a basket case, but still doable. Got your work cut out for ya on that'un. ;)

Yep, that puppy is dern near ready for the road......throw on a front wheel, bars and a piece of cardboard for the seat and you're ready to go ! :)

Aint been in a ride since I got out of the Army last year, being a machinist in the oilfield business in this day in age I gotta work all the time to keep a job. I guess I need a new line of work or sompthin.

Looks like you've got an awesome project bike. By awesome I mean every little thing you do to it improves it. And you're not replacing bike parts you already paid for cause you got it so cheap. Definitely keep us posted on the progress.

Well I got her home she is far worse than the pics lol oh well. I'm gonna have a local shop hardtail it cause I have no garage and no decent welder at the moment. Once i'm done with that I have a buddy that works at a prison and gets paint jobs done for next to nothing and they do very cool work. So its gonna keep my hands full for awhile.

Thats ok bud I have 2 sets of drag bars and a set of bucks and on my DD savage I have bars from a 2009 Vrod that my buddy didn't want after he change them out, just put risers under them and there starting to grow on me. I didn't like them at first cause there kinda wide but with a set of 2 inch risers they look and feel kinda cool i'll drop a pic tomorrow.

found a shop that will bore and hone my jug for $50 so now I just have to order the piston, rings and gaskets and I'll have a little more ponies.

Anyone know what kind of rear fender this may be this is what I'm looking for. I need this part some OD green paint and old military letter stencils, oh and a star stencil.
