Title: Too bleed or not too bleed… Post by DavetheDog on 05/23/09 at 17:35:18 Has anyone had experiences using both the #55(or any other size) pilot with and #55 pilot without the bleeder holes on the side? If so, what were your results? Are the bleeder holes even necessary and is the carb even built in a way that would benefit from the bleeder holes? My guess is no, since the stock jet does not have the bleeder holes and I see no way for air to get down in there to help emulsify the mix. I've heard other opinions that it really makes no difference but haven't seen any concrete evidence to back that up.
