Title: Picture time!
Post by Mortation on 05/06/09 at 15:54:21

OK so the bike is all together and running good so I decided to give it a quick bath and snap some pics.  Mind you I didnt do my 4 hour washing/polishing ritual (yet) because turns out I was out of almost everything except wash lol.  Any way here they are:

You went to ALLL that trouble & left those reflectors on? Are you Kiddin Me? Booooy, hang yore hedd & LOOK uhSHAMED!!

Sorry, everybody was saying such nice things I just had to be the goat..
The matching frame is sharp, the flames are nice. Next time, could you give us a shot looking down at the tank & front fender?

Sure like that rock wall & those doors, nice looking place.

That's partly why I think black looks the best stock color. Plus you get a color-matched seat, grips, tires, cables etc etc  ;)

Great looking bike Mortation, those pegs and mirrors look good and that really is an eye-catching paint job.

Glad you got your carb problems all sorted! I learned quite a lot from that thread thanks.

lol.  I can't take credit for the paint on the bike, it came that way.  It needs to be redone all over.  Some chips on the frame and the tank is messed up, it looks like someone tried to touch up the tank and rear fender as the reds are slightly off and the flames are not as prominent.

I may have the frame powder coated this winter the same color it is now.  Not sure though as I am into the bike for what its worth so anything else I do I am going to have to eat when/if I sell it.

The doors/wall are just the entrance to my basement.  Look great but are drafty as a son of a gun in the winter.

I think I have a spare leather tool bag, pm me if your interested.  Mirrors after adjusting the bars/controls work really well.  I can see clearly out of each on with plenty of visibility.

You can grab em pretty cheap right off eBay.

Thanks, I tried to keep as much detail in the jetting thread as I could so if someone else had the issues they had some good info to go on!  Mines running sweet now.  I went WOT and it shoved me back in the saddle pretty good.  I was a little surprised by that lol.

With the color-matching frame, it's amazing how much your bike looks like the mid to late '80s Intruder 750s.

Is that a sportster muffler?  If it is, drill a 1/2" hole down through the baffle and you will be amazed at how much better it sounds!!  I did this to mine before I put it back together and a few bikers have actually commented they didnt know harley made a single cylinder!!!!
