Post by texsam on 04/30/09 at 14:38:08

i know i sound dumb. :)............but various sources have told me diferent answers enen here on forum...the suzuki mechanic here where i live in corpus christi tx told counterclockwise is rich clockwise is lean, but i called the dealership where i'm from san antonio said the opposite.most of the people on the forum said ccw was rich cw was lean...but there are some exceptions so if everyone could provide me some info i'd appreciate it :) i'm at 3 turns now maybe a tad more and i'd liike to know if i'm running rich or really lean

clockwise is leaner, ccw is richer.  CCW is pulling the pointy end of the screw out of a fuel passage and allowing more gas to pass through.
