Title: oil pressure Post by LarryI on 04/26/09 at 19:55:21 Great forum, thank you for allowing me into this group. Question, where is the oil pressure sending unit located? I owned many bikes, but this is the first big single and for the most part it is very interesting. The bike is a 1997 savage and the oil light does not come on prior to staring the bike after removing thew tank I can find the light bulb holder or even evidence if it ever having an indicator. Can this be true? Is there a test port to check pressure? Thanks for any help.

Title: Re: oil pressure Post by verslagen1 on 04/26/09 at 20:36:48 There's no pressure sender or gage unless the PO added it. There is a pressure test port though.  I believe clymer doesn't mention it but the SSM does.
