my choke won't stay out on its own.every time the engine hit it pops back in.anyone else have this prob?

Not me personally but have others tell me that when this happened it was a sign of a dirty and sticky/gummy carb.  Taking it apart totally and cleaning it helped solve their problem.  Dont know if this is Savage specific but it helped with their choke not staying out.  And Im sure it couldnt hurt to go through and clean your carb thoroughly.

I know I'll probably get slammed for this but...mine was doing that too. So, when I was rejetting, I cleaned the whole thing, and it was still doing it...so..............I bent it, just a little, so it will stay out when i want it to :)

I do that with the hinge pins in the doors in my house when doors start magically closing themselves :)
