Title: cam journal / JB weld update Post by Chief Gunner on 04/22/09 at 17:22:09 Well guys, I've got my restoration complete and fired it up for the first time. Took it up and down the road a few times up to about 70 mph and everything it operating wonderful. Engine is nice and quiet and running smooth. Have a few minor things to work through but I'll put that in another post. I intend to change the oil at around 500 miles and will pull the top cover to inspect the repair. I WILL post pictures of whatever I find. Thanks for all the help guys. Will post pics of the restored 87 soon, she certainly does not look 22 years old!!
