I had to take a ton of stuff off of the bike and I forgot where this went. Thanks in advance for the help!!

looks like the bracket that holds something in the stator side.
Sensor for ignition?

Crap I really hope it doesn't go in there. I might, but I don't remember anything missing. I'll have to open that back up and look. Thanks for the tip. At least I haven't put any oil or anything in there yet.

EDIT:
Yeah it goes in there. CRAP, oh well I guess I know what I'm doing later lol. It would be #9. I don't know how in the world I could have missed it.

pg 212 of clymers
it a clamp for the alternator wiring
goes on the inside of the stator cover.

Yup I had some problems with that little pain myself. It can be pretty tricky getting it back in there correctly.

Once I pulled the cover off I saw exactly where and how it was supposed to go. It was nice of them to make groove's so that it went right in the proper place the first time.
