Yes, they are the stock cables, I just needed to re-route them slightly. However, I did have the stock buckhorns to start with. I believe new cables will be needed if you are switching from the drag bars to the 10 inch mini apes.

I got them at the Harley shop. As long as you get 1 inch bars they will work.

It was already stated that I used the stock cables and wiring, I just had to re-route them. But that only works if you are originally running the stock buckhorns, if you are running the drag bars, I believe you will need new cables and wiring.

Did you re-route your cables Bobbert? When I re-routed mine for the bars they fit just fine and not tight. I take that back, I just looked at my own pics again, they are a bit tight ain't they? But they work fine.

Been so long since the FireLizard had the stock hydraulic forks I forgot what the stock cables looked like on it. ;) ;)

the front brake is tight but that would be fixed if I had the patience to change the angle the line is going into the reservoir and bleed the brakes

That's what I had looked for- apes with little to no pullback. They are hard to find and expensive when you do. Seems like the only bar I found online like that was about $125.

2. Z bars on ebay can be had for 40-60

5'8" but a lot of that's in the neck/head, my body's similar to that of someone 5'6" to 5'7"

You know you can always get some cheap apes... and take a torch to them to straiten them out.... just heat and bend! Will take out most of the pull back and should work just fine! Im all about fabin my own stuff! If I had time I could build you some nifty Z-bar...ish bars for any highth!
