Title: lower left shock bolt - from hardware store? Post by bugsville on 03/22/09 at 17:08:06 I had the please of snapping my lower left shock mount bolt this evening - I was checking out the fiche and it looks to be smooth with threads juts at the end, is this a size that can be found at the hardware store or will I need to get one from the dealer? or someone here? Figured I would throw the question out there as I am sure I am not the only one who has done it - better in the carport than on the road i guess! ;) |

You mean a $pecial bolt, right? I'd have no idea where to find a bolt like that except maybe from a junkyard or dealer. |

Title: Re: lower left shock bolt - from hardware store? Post by Digger on 03/26/09 at 20:29:18 Even if I could find the bolt at the hardware store, I'd check the hardness carefully. I consider a shock bolt to be a critical application. IHTH! |
