Title: Roadog.....Wild Bill Gelbke's custom bike's
Post by Savage Eddie on 03/14/09 at 21:56:04

Dont know if any of you have heard of this beast, the new owner of the second Roadog is now owned by Buzz Walneck and a customer in my shop. He has never successfully driven this bike, one attempt and it tipped over. it now sits on a trailer in his garage. we have worked on several of his weird contraptions including a caddy powered golf cart! yea, that was scary pulling in....

Sounds like it needs some training wheels until the Buzz gets use to it...

Or a temp side car.....  (and I don't mean a whole automobile.....  ;)  )

it does have training wheels, look close at the second pic, it has hydraulic stands that lower when you come to a stop. i think at 3000 pounds even those wont help......plus, Buzz is a little old man....

Man, I am all about "guys building stuff to do what they want" & if that guy was happy with it, GOOD Deal. I enjoy being amazed by it, BUT( you KNEW that was comin, didn ya?) Seriously, over 3,000 POUNDS? On 2 wheels? 110 foot turning radius? Id spend a good while studying it if I ever saw it, but NOT to run copy it.Never know what hurdle he had to figure a way over. Might learn something looking at that.
