Title: Wingerlines and accessories international
Post by troglobil on 03/11/09 at 11:21:42

I ordered a set of Wingerline Highway Bars from Accessories International  nine days ago. When I placed the order I was told they had them in stock. Called today to check on the status of the order, and was told that they are still in France.

Appearantly they were not in stock. It seems that they are made in Spain and have to be shipped from there. It should take another week to get to Miami, before they can send them to me.

If they would have told me they were not in stock and it would take three weeks to get them I would not have been so P.O.'ed.

Just venting. >:(

only three weeks.....   I would think 4 to 6 weeks since it most likely willl come on a container ship and you know the saying .... The slow boat to the savage owner....

yea .... I changed the saying a bit.... Slow boat to china didn't sound right for the situation.......

I was kinda surprised about the time too, but they gave me their ups tracking #. I guess brown is coming thru for me.

Eh... I waited 4+ months until they finally got sets in stock.

The wait was well worth it though. You're going to love the bars!

I guess I lucked out. I ordered mine about 1-1/2 months ago; called on Friday, had the bars on Tuesday!

I didn't place my order until I knew they were in stock.

I e-mailed them every few weeks and they gave me an "expected timeframe"... That came, it turned into 2 more months... Until they finally shot ME an e-mail and said they had them.

I ran a warehouse a while. People came in asking for things I had to order. I make a call, ask"You got the Item?" Answer "Yes, I have it, It'll cost you $20.00 + Freight" I know its 2 days away on UPS. I tell my customer, "It'll be here in 2 days"

Nope, maybe a week later it comes rolling in, my customer is HOTTT & I call the guy & he says "Ohh Im sorry, the COMPUTER told me I had one in stock, then I had to order it" After that, I call & make them LOOK at it & I never told a customer WHEN again. I got lied to a few times, even after I made them go look, they would KNow they didnt have one, But they SELL it to me anyway.. Man that chapped me. I sure didnt do business with them after they shafted me.

They made it here. Only took two days after it showed up in Miami.
Of course, they made the trip to Atlanta twice. Once on the way to A.I.  and then when coming to me. Too bad it wasn't a direct ship.

I'll get them on today and then go looking for some foot pegs.
