New arrival coming soon.

A 2009 Kawasaki Versys will be dropped off this weekend but I want to thank all of you for providing all of your knowledge, understanding and entertainment for the past year.

I still own my s40 but will probably be selling it unless my wife decides she wants to ride, which is highly unlikely.

Thanks again and I'll be lurking...

Congrats on the new bike. If you were closer, I might consider buying. I want to do a bobber... But don't want to cut "MY" bike apart. :-P

I still owe diamondjim some pics of the iso grips on my s40 so I'll post those along w/ some of the new bike. 8-)

That looks like one heck of a machine. Riding position looks comfortable & the rake looks like a handling machine design.
I went & looked at a little of a report, but the video embeded was running, so I left.
Man, thats a sweet machine. Id be interested in knowing the MPG, based on some Less than Enthusiastic riding & then some Serious Lets Have FUUUN! riding. Its gonna be different. I dont know if I could handle the seat height. The Guzzi was a bit tall but after a few thousand miles it got easy to deal with at a stop light.

And I'm not a traitor until I sell my s40. She's still in the garage, for now. ;)

Today the bike was ready for pick up so my brother picked me up and gave me a ride to the dealership (I think the Vulcan 2000 spoke to him).

The service manager pulled up and went over everything on the bike and the the versys was all mine. Now it was 25F and I had about 7 miles to make it home and by the end my hands were very numb but the bike handled beautifully. A lot quicker than the savage but not difficult to get used to. The seat height makes stop lights a stretch but I never felt uncomfortable, I'm 5'11". It's a definite head turner, every light had someone checking it out and one woman asked me to pop a wheelie. Yeah right. Another thing I will love when the riding season arrives is the 5.0 us gallon fuel tank.

hey slow faller. You probably have been riding a long time buuuttt...... Are you not supposed to be riding in the right tire track when in the left lane? lol. I mean the sideview mirror is more likely to catch you there no?

Looks cool..well perhaps cold. They are nice rides, on my list should money ever head my way agian. Enjoy your ride; and as to riding style, I also prefer the left hand side so I can see better whats coming towards me and worry less about folks on my right coming too close.

Nice bike. There's something about it that I like even though I don't really fancy sport bikes. First thing I would do would be pull that license plate/turn signal mount off. But then again, I can't seem to put the wrench down ;D

A 5 gallon fuel tank would be a welcomed change

Keep the Savage, if you can afford to. I traded my S40 for a Versys a year ago. I love the Versys, but sometimes I miss the little Suzuki. I say keep it and bob it. ;)
