Title: Speedo visor and airbox covers Post by diamond jim on 02/23/09 at 11:57:17 These are a few things that I picked up at the Chrome Shop on my Atlanta trip this weekend. It took about 3 minutes with a dremel to make it fit perfect. Are you going to pull them eventually? And... what's the process for pulling them? Removing the plate there with the bars and then pulling them off? |

I've also been looking for a teardrop headlight. Either way I might use the clamps for support for the headlight. If I end up not using them then I'll pull them off. I've read that you can raise the front end, loosen the fork tube clamps, slide them down some and slide the turn signal clamps off. Others have broken then off I guess by wedging something in the space in the clamp and muscling it. |

That's why I got good at finding low cost stuff. I end up buying a couple of different things for the same mods! Many of you talented modders out there would get it right the first time. I habitually hit my turn signal cancel. I always have. The visor mod was one of two mods I was contemplating. The other one would get rid of the indicators above the speedo altogether. And my headlight stays on bright unless I flash it. I'm betting you don't look at your high beam indicator to see if high beams are on either. You look at the switch itself. |

Usually after any sort of turn, even if it didn't require a signal! Haha. I leave my brights on a lot of the time too, until it gets dark and then I'll kick it down for uncoming traffic. I do a mixture of both though, between looking at the light and looking at the switch. What would you put in the area where those lights are? |
