The only thing left to do is to take up the little bit of slack in the wires that I needed to fit it all. I replaced the bolts that held the brackets on the bar ends with black allen heads so it looks much more custom now and not so "afterthought bolt on" like it did with the other bolts. These are the same bright amber LED lights I used for ver 1.0. They have slightly smoked lenses. The mirrors have a convex shape.

I'm done for now. Gotta start packing for Atlanta.

Thanks. I made new brackets for these. This mod didn't cost much moneywise, maybe $35 total (LEDs were $25), but it takes a crap load of detail work and time though. It's definitely not a mod to try if your favorite tool is a hammer!

ah..... er..... kinda small. What sort of view do you get with them?

And now I have to check the CVC for any reference to the SIZE of a rear view mirror.

I see a little better with them especially in some particular situations than I did with stock and aftermarket stemmed mirrors. The stemmed mirrors were great for shoulder inspection. They did provide a small section of glass to use to see behind me. But the slight buzzing in them reduced that ability some and they were only flat glass. Somehow, through modding, I accidentally solved all those issues!

well i like em! Ive elected to go with no turn sigs but the law in Illinois says you have to have at least one mirror (nice bike!)
