I've had a bit of trouble in finding out the name/color code of my 06 Silver Savage (looks more like a metallic light blue). Does anyone know of a VIN decoder that gives that information, or if not, the name of the color/color code (perhaps YDV)? Thanks!

color isn't in the vin code, you have to get that from the dealer.

Just got in contact - they were kind enough to let me know the color code, though I still don't know what the name of my Silver is. Thanks!

Seems like they didn't get very specific after renaming to the Boulevard.

Up here in canada apparently there is no color code for the savage. Color-rite online has their own codes based on the year of your bike. I went to a local auto-paint shop and had them scan my front fender. They matched my paint perfectly and it only cost me 90$ for a quart of paint, quart of clear, the reducer and the hardener.
