Don't know if this is a repost since this guy was posting before I even had a motorcycle but its an awesome read, long but worth it. It starts with him taking his HD sportster to Vegas to meet his wife then back home to WI. Later him and his wife cruise to South America and back. Pictures to go with almost everything he explains too.

Wow, what an adventure. He did a great job on documenting it. I have spent quite a bit of time reading, and it was worth every minute. What a read.

Got to the end of his post yesterday... That must've been one amazing experience.

What amazes me most is the people that he got to meet, and that they were so accepting to them... Offering to help, people constantly stopping to see if they needed anything when they were pulled to the side of the road, etc. You don't get that in America anymore and it's sad. It's just such a culture shock that it's almost unreal.

I agree. The amount of kindness he and his wife encountered brought a smile to my face. That and the food, man some of that stuff looked so good.

I agree! It would be too much fun to go experience something like that... I wonder how much money was spent from the time they left until they got back, with the exception of having to go back for the bike... :-P Total for rooms, and fees, and gas and whatever else.

My girlfriends brother went on a missions trip to Hondorus. I know he commented on the food quite a bit. He said most of the meals were beans, or included beans. And he said that getting home, having a warm shower was such a blessing...

Anyone want to plan a group ride? :-P
