Title: MID MOUNT FOOT PEGS
Post by NALAINHART on 02/03/09 at 16:41:38

HELLO EVERYONE, I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS SITE.  I AM LOOKING INTO BUYING A BOULEVARD S40 VERY VERY SOON AND I AM 5'2, ABOUT 112LBS, LADY RIDER.  DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE FORWARD CONTROLS ON THE S40(FORWARD TO ME) CAN BE MOVED TO MID MOUNT OR IF THERE IS AFTER MARKET PARTS AVAILABLE TO MOVE THEM BACK?  THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP!!!   ;)

I don't know of any, but my wife is 5' and 100lbs, and the bike suits her perfect..

Good luck!

Bike is fine as is for short legged persons.

Only long legged persons need the forward controls.  Ed L. sells them in 2" and 4" sets.

Tech and Reference is for long kept technical threads, so please delete this thread after you read your answer.

We post questions like this in Rubber Side Down or Cafe -- you will get more answers there as most folks don't even go to Tech/Ref unless they are researching a problem.

I don't doubt that you find the foot controls to be a little out there especially if you are use to mid mount pegs. I felt the same way but after a half dozen rides it felt naturally. Just a bit of getting use to.
