i see that we have several different years of S40's represented... i am wondering, other than the name change from savage to boulevard, has there been any other major changes to the bike through the years???

Minimal changes at most... Seats are different from the Savage to the S40, small change to the frame... But, overall it's the same bike.

thanks... just bought an '07, and wanted to grab that clymers manual, just wanted to make sure it would cover the same basic info...

Prior to '95,they were 4 speed.

I think 1991 was the first year with 5 speeds. At least my 1992 is 5 speed.

I think you're right :-[.Thet stopped importing them until '95,or something like that :-/.
