im fixin to make my frame a rigid and and streched about 3 inches wich i know means i will have to go with the chain conversion wich i am all for.....if i offset my motor a little say 3/4 inch would that allow for a fatter rim and tire..........

That's how it started with the Harleys.My HD build has a 1/2" offset for a 200 tire.

most just go with jack shafts now days.

There was another thread that started this way...ended up with a VW tire on the back of a savage. Too much drinking and thinking could lead to some interesting results ;)

If there ever was a "modern" bike that you could do stuff to, it would be this one.
