does anybody know what the small black rubber covered box's control, one is below the ign. spark coil on left, the other is on the right just forward of the solenoid,,,is there anything else on the bike that controls the spark apart from the c.d.i. unit,,cheers

the one on the right is (starboard) you see if I understand where you mean is the turn signal flasher - it's mounted in a square rubber bracket .... on the left I gotta go see

Our Tech Ref section has what you need. Use the "Sticky" thread at the top called "Table of Contents with links".

In the Electrical section, it listed "That "mysterious" electrical system" posted by Savage Greg.

Of course, he doesn't show the turn signal relay.... hmmmmm Max, looks like you will need to raid Greg's frig and get him to do a pict from that side....
