any idea what the OD of teh savage brake rotor is. clymers has min/max thickness etc but not the OD

There's only 2 people that have to cut down a gs450 disk to match the savage.  And maybe a few more that have thought of cutting their own.

At least Dutch and Finnish Savage clubs have had a batch of discs made. One sketch's here (http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/1967/savage1akm4.jpg).

Neat design. I wouldnt have used a bird, tho. I would most likely have cut an anchor in it. or maybe "WHOOOAAAAA!"

I put one floating rotor and 4 piston Tokico caliper from a 2000 GSXR 750 on my ride. Stops real good now!
