Title: The Petcock Poltergeist Strikes AGAIN! Post by PipJones on 12/19/08 at 17:57:21 Well, for a long time i thought my bike was having carburetor issues. It would run for a little while, die on me, Crank, Crank, Crank, Crank, Ker-Pow!! Off I go again! It would only happen to me at idle, so i was thinking it was the darned idler jet..... but no... I was riding on this amazing "winter" day. (its about 70 here in texas), and she was doin' fine, then she dies again! So i switched her to prime.... no more problems!!!! Thanks for all the help on all of my past posts. Pip Jones |
Title: Re: The Petcock Poltergeist Strikes AGAIN! Post by verslagen1 on 12/19/08 at 18:25:48 make sure you check the vac line for gas, daily wouldn't be a bad idea. replace the vac line to see if it fixes the problem make sure to switch to on when parked. |
