My bob-job on my '05 is pretty much finished, only problem is i don't like the chopped factory fender one bit. I've decided to go with the oldschool chrome fender, i've seen more than a few bikes on here with them and i was wondering where to begin my search; what model bikes would have a chrome rear fender that would fit? I'm not afraid of cutting to fit, i just want an idea so i don't go through 10 fenders before i find one that will fit the curve and not be jacked straight up like a shark fin.

I have a chrome rear.....(stop it!)....
I just measured the tire size and went to the junk yard,...old 70's jap fenders in a pile,...I found one with the right curve, and fewest mount holes,...no idea what it came from,...and made it fit....
And that's the fun of it!.....

go for it!,...and let me see the end result......

I remember a post,someone modified a trailer fender.
