another thing you have to think about is where you want the clutch. it can actually be on the shifter which would make it easier to shift or i think you can do a foot clutch or a hand but idk how youd accomplish clutching and shifting

I'll have a hand shifter mounted on the right side beside the tank, pivoting on a bushing in the frame, a cable going down to the trans lever... clutch stays on the left bar.
Mine is from necessity but I like the style part of it also...

That is gonna be a tiny a$$ trike.

XD

I think if i do a suicide, i'm gonna mount it on the left with the clutch
mounted on the shifter.

savage trike would be neat. let's see some pics when completed. knees and shoulder sugury made the trike a neccesity 9 years ago when I could no longer keep 'er up with the SO on the back. on our third GW trike now. trike riden is a whole dtfferent experence, it ain't no motorsickle no more, but still a hellva lot of fun. had to let the savage go in order to have enough shekles to complete the trike. a savage is MUCH more manageable solo at 350 lbs. than an 800 lb. wing with SO on the back. gonna have another one some day for soloen. mabey when the new pres gives us all that big stimlus money. ya, right.

Hutch had a "jockey" shifter on his Savage prior to selling it.  Try searching for it.  It had a knife handle for the shifter and was linked up really spiffy.

had a jawa 250 in 1947 that had the clutch release built into the foot shift lever. used hand clutch to put it in gear, then lifted up on lever to first gear, release clutch lever,  then pressed down on shiftlever, that disengaged the clutch and made shift to second, to rengage clutch, just let up on lever. 1 up 3 down, that really built muceles in the left foot. by using the clutch lever, made the shifts a lot easer. nrver seen another bike set up that way, but i guess there could have been.
